Created in collaboration with the young people in her home town of Coen, QLD, Hobson's photographs offer a portal into their private moments and community life, enlisting areas of saturated colour to accentuate the unique and vibrant nature of their personalities. Commissioned by Cement Fondu for this exhibition, new images and a video work were shot during Coen's wet season, reflecting how the shifting landscape invites new ways of being, playing and connecting with Country.
