Our core business is in production and distribution of our product range of non-alcoholic craft beers, including supply chain organisation, contract manufacturing, wholesale and retail sales, marketing and promotions. We distribute stock from our base, Sobah HQ, at Burleigh Heads QLD which is the employment location for all Sobah crew.

Established in 2017 from a desire for providing a better choice for those who are not drinking for whatever reason at whatever time, Sobah promotes healthy lifestyle choices and wellness, social equity, sustainability, raise positive awareness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, smash stereotypes, unite people and of course, our beers quench thirst.
To help us continue to do more good, we’re looking for an experienced sales rep to look after our great customers and venues, and develop new relationships with businesses in Brisbane & Gold Coast covering the territory west to Toowoomba, north to the Sunshine Coast and south to Ballina. The role requires a highly motivated, vibrant, results-driven individual with relevant industry sales experience, potentially someone who has heaps of local knowledge with an ability to guide us in making the right decisions to best showcase our product range.
This is a great opportunity for someone who thinks of customers first, communicates confidently, encompasses all the Sobah brand values and has a passion for the beverages industry. You will get lots of autonomy with us, but also integrate with and be a key member of our team. That means your self-awareness and ability to self-manage and practice time management are particularly important. This sales role challenging and exciting and the right candidate will need to think outside the box to manage the region.
What you’ll be getting up to in this role:
- Delivering on regional sales plans, building territory plans and working closely with team mates on strategic priorities
- Growing Sobah in a new and competitive market - covering both new and existing customers
- Tastings and non-alc beer education
- Coordinating activations
- Participating in events and festivals
- Building strong community relationships
- Deal with a mix of on-premise and off-premise venues
- Provide excellent customer service and support to our customers
This is a 9-month fixed-term fulltime role that has an opportunity to go permanent at the end of the period.
Relevant Experience & Attributes;
- An understanding and passion for the beverages industry
- Sales experience in beer and/or beverages, or
- Commercial hospitality experience
- Ability to adapt to a growing business
- Network within the territory
- Self-motivated with the ability to structure and organise own work routines
- Team player
The important bits: its important you have a full driver’s license and full rights to work in Australia. This is a full-time role and you would ideally be based at Gold Coast or Brisbane, with flexible work hours which may include weekend work here and there.
